Dr James Fowler

A Professor of Strategy and Managing Director of the AMBA Accredited, internationally acclaimed MBA Programme.

James has achieved a Post Graduate Certificate in Educational Practice and Innovation.  He has extensively researched and is profoundly versed in the history of management and has written for Business History, Management History, Transport History and Economic and Business History Journals.  He has also published three books on the organisational history of London’s transport. 

In addition to his role as Director of the MBA, James is responsible for developing and sustaining corporate partnerships for the Essex Business School.  He is also an associate at In Professional Development and has worked with TALE Haven Gateway, Brusov University, H/Advisors Cicero, Park Square Capital and the c2c rail franchise.

James brings a fresh perspective to business with his exceptional knowledge of strategy and industry, and has achieved a degree in Law, Master of Science, PhD and a number of post graduate certifications.  He leverages his deep insights into industry and strategy and hosts a number of professional development programmes for strategic leaders in business.
