Managing Stakeholders' Stakeholders

Thinking about stakeholders is outdated.  Stakeholders are apprehensive about adopting change that they cannot understand.

All too often organisations fail to communicate simply and clearly what the 'ask' is of people in organisations when adopting change.

It is not necessary to bombard your people with information - that is simply overcommunicating.  Instead, think of 3-5 key overarching messages that you can easily communicate to all people in your organisations that are impacted by the change.

This should ensure that the message is kept simple and memorable whilst having the necessary level of breadth required to communicate the meaningful change to a wider population of affected employees.
